I hiked up Sugarloaf in the cold and wind and took some photos. People asked me “Why?!”

Description

There is a large rock outcrop, rising 400 feet above Lake Superior, locally known as Sugarloaf Mountain. From the top of this granite hill, you can see wide, sweeping views of Lake Superior and other surrounding hills. In the winter, during a lake effect snow event, it can be windy and bone chillingly cold.

I hiked up Sugarloaf in the cold and wind and took some photos. People asked me “Why?!”

This is why! I wanted to make this painting!
