Walking through a stand of red pines, to me, is like walking through a natural cathedral or temple. The columns of red and silver support a canopy of green boughs, with speckled sunlight coming through. Below is a carpet o rust orange pine needle. With the greatest of lakes through the red cathedral, the scene is breathtaking, and nothing short of spiritual.
